Transient Towpath Trudging - Pt.60

I don't know where to start with this one, so I'll sum it up in a few sentences.

Nic, Tess and I ventured to the bream area for an evening session. Mostly clear skies and the sun was strong so we didn't expect much until the sun went behind the hills, where the small fry and bait fish were quite active.

4 rods between us, two deadbait rods and two float rods with bread or maggot, nada, nothing, zilch well past dusk too. One of those forgettable sessions where the cold rain the night before lowered the water temperature a nadger.

On a positive note, a good catch-up with Nic and Tess was enjoying herself waddling in the mud and chewing sticks !!! But the fishing was so bad the morning session I planned not far away I decided to cancel that and go another day instead.
